18 – 25s

If you’re new to Cardiff or if you’ve have been around for while, we’re here for you.

St Marks is not a “student” church, really; we have a good mix of families, professionals, students, 20s-30s and older people. We encourage service, and you’ll see that there are loads of opportunities to serve and get involved, whether you’re a musician, you want to inspire the youth, or you just want to serve tea and coffee.  You won’t be get lost in the crowd at St Marks. We do have a student age group, for anyone 18 to 25ish, called Interchange. Our focus is on discipleship, bible study, and fellowship.

What does Interchange do?

  • We meet weekly to study the Bible and to encourage each other to apply the gospel of Christ to every aspect of our lives — especially the challenges relevant to our age and stage of life.
  • We hang out together, have fun, and have social events.
  • We pray for each other, bearing each others burdens, and building each other up.

What’s on the horizon for this year?

  • Student lunches – how the church will care for you as part of the wider church family
  • Missional opportunities – your ideas welcome, please!
  • Taking part in a 24-7 Prayer Weekend along with the wider church
  • A weekend away

When & Where?

Interchange meets on Thursday evenings from 7.30 pm to around 9.30 pm at the Vicarage. Sometimes we’ll do something different on Monday evening, so make sure you sign up to the email list to find out what’s going on every week.

Leading Interchange this year are Moses Tutesigensi, Iona Shepherd, Henry & Jo Shepherd. If you’d like to know more, get in touch! Interchange@stmarks-cardiff.org.uk
