Alpha Course – Come & explore the meaning of life …
Alpha is a low-pressure, fun and informative course. It is a place to relax, share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don’t go to church, but are interested in the Christian faith. There is no charge and anyone is welcome to attend. There is both an adult and youth alpha course running in St. Mark’s in January.
Adult Alpha
Each evening begins at 7pm and finishes at 9:30pm. Food will be provided. Adult Alpha will run on Monday nights beginning on Monday January 30th.
Youth Alpha
Youth Alpha runs for eight weeks and is aimed at young people between the ages of 11 – 18 who want to know who Jesus is. It doesn’t matter if your parents have brought you to church for years or if you have never stepped foot inside a church before, all are welcome. The sessions are very informal with food, games and a chance to find out who Jesus is and ask those questions that have been bugging you. No question is considered stupid. There are eight sessions including a Saturday looking at who the Holy Spirit is and what He does.
A taster session will be on Sunday 8th January 7-9pm in the Church Hall. Come along, bring your mates and see what you think.
