We are delighted to announce that the St Mark’s Soccer School returns for it’s 15th year, and we can’t wait for 4 more fun days of Soccer. Our event will run from Tuesday 29th May through to Friday 1st June, and is open to children in School years 3-6. Last year was our largest Soccer School event with over 80 children who attended. This year we will be returning to St Mark’s church to host the event, and the football will take place in Maitland Park which is situated just behind St Mark’s Church.

This year will be an extra special event which will be taking place just before the World Cup in June. We will be holding our own mini World Cup 2018 tournament during the week, and will give you the opportunity to represent one of the teams taking part in the World Cup.

During the 4 days, our qualified coaches will teach you many different football skills. Also there will be trophies to be won, and every child will go home with at least a T-shirt, football and Medal. As well learning about football, you will also hear stories from the bible, and learn more about Jesus as the week progresses. If you are interested in taking part in our Soccer School then you will need to be quick as it is very popular and places are limited.

Our Soccer School leaflet can be found here (, but to speed up the booking process this year you may book a place for your child online using the following link:

Once the online registration has completed please send payment (£25 per person) in advance by either cash or cheque (payable to ‘St. Mark’s Church, Gabalfa’) to St Mark’s Church, 206 North Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff CF14 3BL.
