In Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Phillip Fayers, 11th November 2018
Part of the Connect series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

This talk was given in 2 parts. There is a 10 second pause around 20 minutes. The Reformers stressed that we are spiritually bankrupt but we don't have to pay anything for salvation - God wants to give it to us. There is a treasury of grace in the church but we can't sell it - we have to give it away.

Ephesians 2:8–9 (Listen)

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
