This talk was given in the context of the baptism of baby Oliver William in an all-age service, and followed a video from Christian Aid about the situation for girls in Africa. Some of the children were asked about their hopes and aspirations in the course of the talk.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. God calls us to love people throughout the world. Christian Aid is working against gender inequality throughout the world. The theme of Christian Aid Week is 'Gender Equality '.
It important that we fit into God's plan, not expect him to fit into ours.
