In China. 3 Habakkuk remembers what God has done. We look back to what Jesus has done for us. This leads to an expectation that God we will repeat his deeds today. But we fall short of God's standards.
Habakkuk closes his prayer with an expression of confidence that he can trust God whatever happens.
How many of us have feared exile. Have we lost everything? Is our faith like his? What is the source of our joy? True joy comes only in the Lord.
