God revealed his love to us in the person of Jesus. Wilfred Owen in Pat Barker's novel Regeneration said: 'I don't think it is possible to call yourself a Christian and just leave out the awkward bits.'
We are called to have an honest, loving and trusting relationship with God. This may include anger with God.
Job loses everything and complains to God. The Psalmists express this anger many times. Jesus unloads his agony on the cross. We don't need to spare God's feelings. God is alongside us when things go wrong.
