Tenses differ between translations. Originally a prayer for the king, but also a prophecy. Much of the National Anthem is based on it. The Psalm is also a prophecy of the coming of the Messiah, the ideal King.
1. A king who rules with justice and righteousness.
2. Compassionate.
3. Endless rule. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
4. Universal worship . The church is growing, particularly in areas of persecution. What are we doing about helping the Kingdom grow?
5. Prosperity - shalom, total wellbeing.
