The importance of Jesus' bodily resurrection (1-11). Three consequences of saying we only rise in spirit (12-19) 1. If human beings can't rise bodliy Jesus didn't. 2. If Christ hasn't been raised bodily our preaching misrepresents God. 3. If Jesus didn't rise we are still stuck in our sins. When saying the creed we should say "I believe in the resurrection of the body " with confidence.
