How can we have the fruit of the Spirit growing in our lives?
Ezek 36 God promises to put his Spirit in us.
Matt 3:11 Jesus will baptise with the Holy Spirit.
Rom 8:3,4 Jesus bore the punishment for sin that we might live by the Spirit.

Our lives should overflow with the fruit of Spirit. But there is a war within us. There are the sinful desires in us.
Hasn't our sinful nature been crucified? The outcome is inevitable, but the struggle goes on. To live by the Spirit means following the desires of the Spirit. It does not mean that we simply let go and let God. We are expected to live by the Spirit. What must we do? We must live by faith. We receive the help of the Spirit by faith.
Rom 10:17 We must be listening and meditating on God's word. Taking time to read and apply it. It is the fuel for prayer.
