Church Family is the St Mark’s way of describing the people who regularly participate in church life at St Mark’s, and who also contribute however their gifts and capacity allow.

You don’t have to be an Anglican to be part of our church family.

We encourage participation in home groups and regular Sunday attendance, alongside active personal and corporate prayer.

Almost all our income at St Mark’s comes from voluntary giving by our members. We do not take up collections at our services, but have an offering bowl available for people to give as they enter the church, if they wish.

How can you give to St Mark’s?

  1. Gift Direct Scheme. Run by the Church in Wales, a Direct Debit taken on the 6th of the month. There are options for direct debits for other days of the month.
  2. Numbered Envelopes. Have numbered envelopes to put in the offering bowl each week. Please add a Gift Aid Declaration where possible.
  3. Gift Aid Envelopes. To go into the offering bowl, for those who can only give occasionally.
  4. Charity credits via vouchers and on-line donations.

Forms and envelopes are available from the information desk in the foyer. Email the office if you would like our full declaration on giving. Our registered charitable information is here.

Church Family Administration

ChurchSuiteChurchSuite is our tool for calendar and address book management. Click here for more information about it. We expect everyone in the church family to be on ChurchSuite.

SharePoint is our main tool for projects and information. Church family members can have a church email address and access software to help with any volunteer work they are doing for the church.

Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7
