The Sermon on the Mount shows God's intention when he gave the Law of Moses. The sort of life it proposes is the best possible life. In discussing murder Jesus goes straight to the heart of the matter and the individual by addressing anger. His "application points" are 1. "Settle out of church" and 2. "Settle out of court".
