The reason John wrote his book that we might believe in Jesus and have life in his name.

He created everything. He entered the creation.

The eternal God made known to us fully in Jesus.

Implications:
1. Jesus speaks with authority.
2. Every other voice is fallible.
3. He is unique.
The world has rejected him.
